MM Singh Government admits that DIVESTMENT out of PSUs is a MISTAKE?

The following information is an admission,by the MM Singh Government that DIVESTMENT out of the PSUS is a MISTAKE and hence NOT JUSTIFIED!!!

There is a report dated, 29/7/2010,that the Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Arun Yadav informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply,as per the Economic Times:-

“The Govt depended on the payout from  PSUs. The total contribution by CPSEs to the central exchequer stood at about Rs 1.52 lakh crore in 2008-09 and the dividend paid was Rs 19.38 lakh crore”.Read here

It is worth remembering that India’s total expenditure Budgetted for 2010-11,is about 12 lakh Crores.
